💡 Why Volunteer?
- Support young people in developing their aspirations and work-related skills
- Share your knowledge and experiences through talks, workshops, or workplace visits
- Help students build confidence and essential employability skills
- Be part of a warm, inclusive school community
- Make a positive difference to the lives of autistic and neurodivergent young people
🛠️ Building Essential Skills
At Baskerville, we follow the Skills Builder Framework, which helps students develop the eight essential skills needed for life and work:
- Listening
- Speaking
- Problem Solving
- Creativity
- Staying Positive
- Aiming High
- Leadership
- Teamwork
As a volunteer, you may help students grow these skills in real-life contexts — such as during mock interviews, supported work experience, or classroom sessions. Your support helps make these skills real and achievable for our students.
